☎️Webex Calling APIs Overview Webinar ☎️
The Webex Developer Evangelism team provided an overview of the Webex Calling platform in their most recent webinar, covering all the available APIs, recent updates, integration use cases, and helpful developer resources. You can watch the recording on our webinars page.
To add some color to the webinar content, you can get a lot of information about the Webex Calling product line in this blog post and learn how to get your Developer Sandbox configured for Webex Calling in this new Vidcast.
Also, don’t forget to register for our next live webinar coming up on March 29th – Getting Your App Listed on the Webex App Hub, which is a nice follow-up session for developers who want to share their Webex Calling integrations with the public.
📞New: Detailed Call History API and Webex Calling Mobile SDK📞
While on the topic of Webex Calling APIs, there’s a great new endpoint for programmatically creating custom call reports - Detailed Call History API. To get going quickly, check out this new developer blog postby Technical Solutions Architect, Justin Haefner, who shows us how to use the API to create reports with Python scripting.
Additionally, there’s a new Webex Calling Mobile SDK now in beta, for enabling users to make and receive calls in 3rd party mobile apps. To get more information about joining the beta, check out the community announcement.
✨ New: Developer Guide for Creating Instant Meeting Links ✨
Webex Instant Connect is a WebRTC based product that can be integrated in customer workflows to quickly create meeting links for hosts and guests via API. For example, Instant Connect enables healthcare staff and patients to meet in easy-to-use video telehealth consultations, scheduled directly from their Electronic Medical Record (EMR) portal.
